You are going to forget your wedding day.
Not in a tragic way. In a very human, very “wait… did we even eat?” way. You’ll remember that it was hot, or that it wasn’t. That your sister said something funny. That someone cried and you cried and then you both pretended you had something in your eye. You will not be able to put the hours in the right order if someone paid you.
This is normal. It is also why people hire us… though they usually say something more along the lines of “we want to relive it.”
You won’t actually relive the day — not really. Reliving it would mean sitting through the speeches a second time, and we have never met a couple who wanted that. Including the people who wrote the speeches.
What you will do, every anniversary or on any random Tuesday, with a glass of something when the house is finally quiet, is press Play. And for eight or so minutes you get the day back — not as a recap, not as a highlight reel of the bits that were already obvious. The in-between bits. The look. The laugh that was not for the room. The ordinary moment in that day that somehow becomes the one you cannot stop watching.
Same-day content is a different animal. It’s a snack. Very useful if you want your guests to know they are at a wedding before they have even found the car park. Snacks can be delicious… But we’re here for dinner.
We make the film you watch when the dress is in a box and the group chat has gone quiet. Honest. Observational. Emotional. And Fun, with a capital F… because if your day was actually fun and the film is sombre for no reason, someone has made a taste decision you did not ask for.
Anyway. You will forget the day. Your mum will remember a different day and your best man will remember a third day. The film is the only version of your day that does not take sides.
If that sounds like your sort of thing, watch a real wedding film of ours first — https://lemontreefilms.com/our-work/ — then come say hi.
